Thank you very much for the successful cooperation in 2010! We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Instead of presents we decided to donate to the residential hospice St. Vincent as well as to the nursing home „Haus Maria Frieden" specially to the ward for patients in vegetative state. Both are situated in Mannheim. The hospice is accomodated in the Caritas „Joseph-Bauer-Haus". Aim of the hospice is to maximize the analgesia. „ It's all about adding life to the time that's left and not to add days to the remaining life." (Matthias Volkenandt) The elderly people’s home „Maria Frieden“ is about to create togetherness and care – not easy – especially not for patients in vegetative state. The interaction between the nurses and the patients in vegetative state is very important, our donation will help to finance this extra time. More information about „Maria Frieden“. |
